Cartridge Filter Dust Collector APCON PJCF dust collector equipment incorporates the principle of suction, adhesion, filtration and discharge of dust laden air particles purged mechanism. The polluted air/gas enters the bag filter through a calculated and designed duct size to meet the required parameters of the transport system, a sudden expanse at the bag filter inlet decelerates the velocity of the air and the heavier dust particles fall into the hopper and the lighter are sucked to the raw gas side of the bag filters media; The filter in turn filters the dust laden air and lets the dust free air pass through it.
The emission level is derived basically in this stage only as the bag filter acts as a very important part for the dust collector unit, the variable factors like the air permeability, weight/mò, tensile strength & the breaking strength decide the working of the filter bag effectively. The gas composition and the temperature also play a vital role.
The compressed air stored in the air accumulator is released into the bag for a very short interval of time through a generated pulse, the specially designed solenoid valve which controls minimum loss of compressed air but in turn gives an optimum performance of cleaning the filters, through a nozzle mounted on pressure chamber. The solenoid valve works on the principle of charge & discharge sequentially; one solenoid valve cleans one filter at a time of the dust collector unit.
The collected material in the hopper is disposed off continuously through rotary air valve or through the combination of screw conveyor & rotary valve. Smaller designed dust collectors/modular dust collectors are provided with slides, manual valve & dust holding bin as the alternative discharge arrangement.
